Re: diamond resorts how to get out

[Q=jimm380] how to get out of diamond resorts[/Q] A very vague question and, unfortunately, a question lacking the important and pertinent facts required for anyone to provide you with a precise and accurate answer. When / where did you originally sign your purchase contract? Individual state laws dictate exactly how long you have to cancel a contract. In no instance do you have more than 10 days to do so. You have as few as 3 days in several states. In most states, the rescission period is 5-7 days. State law where you executed the contract prevails, but you don't identify where, when, or from whom you made that DRI purchase; details that determine your available options. If you are referring to a long standing ownership, DRI has a "deedback" program they call "Transitions". Your account must be fully paid up to date in order to be considered for eligibility and your ownership must have been a DRI - direct purchase (i.e., not a purchase in the resale market). With the necessary details missing in your question, that's all the information that can be provided to you. Good luck.
