MVC rentals 30 days and less name change

Can I change the name of a mvc rental with less than 30 day? I have a five night posted on Redweek. On the mvc website, on the name change form at the top, it says it may result in the new person not being able to check in. But redweek keeps my rental posted until ten days out. I am confused
