i am glad destination points is working well for you. thank you for sharing all your research and tips. for ME it is useless. i have never and would never stay in a resort and i've owned for over 20 years. and the vacations require so many points that you can buy the exact same trip for CASH for less than the maintenance fees for the points required. you MUST use the points or lose them. that is the most shocking thing to me I think. then that means that i do NOT own anything. if i owned it, they could not just take it back from me for no compensation. i am a absolutely CERTAIN that if they had told me how the program works, I would NOT have purchased points. i feel that i am a victim of FRAUD. to answer one of your main questions, at what price do i think points are worth it. i can honestly say that if i was given them free, i would not want them.
