Hi, I am in the process of canceling my contract in which I was able to do within the 5 business day period, but they are refusing to refund my deposit back due to the "liquidated damages" clause they have in the contract stating that they may keep all money paid up to date. Do you have any advice on how I can potentially get my deposit back?? [Q=joann486] The salesperson will tell you that by signing the contract you CAN't get your MONEY(deposit) back. When in fact you can, on the back of your contract #14 is stated your cancellation rights with no penalty, you have 5 days. Buyer Beware.[/Q]
