If they offered you a large amount of money (especially if you own a Mexican timeshare) even if they say there is no upfront fee, it is likely a scam. If you aren't advertising and they contacted you, it is likely a scam. If you are advertising and they offered you more than your asking price-scam. Very few timeshares are worth 10% or more of what you paid. Most are worth 1% or less if you bought retail. Most people who ask questions about company x or y are being contacted by scammers. Provide details of their offer. Likely all or most of the details will indicate a scam.
