We originally owned a deeded one week at the Point at Poipu. We were then convinced we should go for the points system and we converted. Finally, they pulled a 'fast one' on us by changing our ownership from the hawaiian collection to the US collection (they misrepresented the US collection as including the Hawaiin collection) and we now find it impossible to get a room at the Point.

Is there any way we can also join the class action lawsuit?

Robert, Unfortunately the "Class" was composed of DEEDED OWNERS OF THE POINT AT POIPU POINT RESORT AND MEMBERS OF THE DIAMOND RESORTS HAWAII COLLECTION. I'm sorry to hear that you were persuaded to give up your deed; and then not even for the Hawaii Collection. You were not alone in allowing DRI sales reps to pull the wool over your eyes. If it's any consolation, since you're not a deeded owner nor a member of the Hawaii Collection, you escaped the Water Intrusion special assessment. bruceb
