I do agree with you that these lawsuits usually are a waste of time. But for some, I guess they are doing it on principle.
As for the comment "Focus on using it", that is good advice if the person is able to travel. Unfortunately, some owners' circumstances change and they cannot travel as much as before or maybe even travel at all. So they have to somehow get rid of their unit.
