The laws against recording telephone conversations varies. Federal law requires one party to the conversation to be aware of the recording. If the taper is aware he is taping, then that requirement is satisfied. Some states have more restrictive laws and some do not. Missouri has the same requirement as federal law, that only one party be aware of the recording. So watch what you say.
