To my knowledge Vacation Village has not changed their "find a buyer" response, but have allowed release if documented medical hardship that impairs travel. The fee is $1,500. There is a Vacation Village Support Facebook Group for those in your situation. Had it been known buyers would be held hostage, no one would have bought a timeshare from this company.
