Gluten free/Wheat free eating in San Jose, Costa Rico

My family was in Costa Rica earlier this year. We weren't paying any attention to the wheat/gluten content of our meals, so all I can recommend is this:
There is a canopy tour place about an hour outside of San Jose, up the side of Volcan Poas. The website is: www.colinasdelpoas.com.
They also have trout fishing ponds there, with poles/bait provided. We caught our own fish, then took them to the restaurant on-site. The chef there prepared our trout with a delicious rosemary sauce. This entree was served with sides of rice, vegetables, french fries, bread (whoops, wheat!), and pineapple smoothies. All of this for three people - including the "fun" of catching our own food - came to $40 US.
