"Renting Timeshares at All-inclusive Resorts"

Jan 20, 2008

My question is: If you rent a timeshare at an all-inclusive resort from an owner, do you receive all of the amenities such as all of the meals, etc.?

I would say in almost all cases the all inclusive fees are over and above the rental fee. Usually they are paid to the resort upon check-in and are based either on the number of people in your party or the size of the unit. For example at some resorts even if you are only 2 people but are in a 2 bedroom they may charge you the 4 person rate. You should confirm these details with the person you are renting from as well as with the resort, as fees change and are also higher on certain prime weeks. Some resorts have an optional all-inclusive and some have a mandatory all-inclusive. Hope this helps.
