World Travelers Advocate

Feb 04, 2011

I received a postcard with RCI's insignia inviting me to an update meeting. When I got there, a rep from World Travelers Advocate said RCI had sent them to RCI members as a result of the lawsuit, and that to convert to RCI points, I needed to purchase an additional timeshare to bring my total to 100,000 RCI points, then I could rent those points for $6,500/year. I called RCI, and neither the supervisor I spoke with nor her manager has heard of WTA. Does anyone have any info on WTA? Is this just another scam? Thanks for prompt replies!

In this day and time there are many scammers pirating the names of reputable companies to use in their scams .... run away as fast as you can.
