question about safety of rental

Read many of the answers and seem to vary some. So I post one for myself. I am looking for a timeshare rental. Some have verified and protected, are these 100% safe to rent? What precautions should I take with one of these or any other?

If the posting has a Verified and Protected flag on it, then your payment can be made by credit card to RedWeek. The money is not disbursed to the owner until two business days after you check into the resort.
