    Per the Owner: I think the main value in regard to my property at the Samoset in Maine is the fact that the main resort was improved tremendously, a big investment and done with a feel for the land and view. However, the timeshare element remained limited, which is a unique factor. In addition, the Unit I'm posting is particularly nice because of the wrap-around balcony which gives you a full view of Penobscot Bay pretty much from the whole unit. It's on the third floor, which I liked because you don't deal with noise overhead. The first floor (two bedroom) is down one flight from the entrance, so it's only one flight up to B4. The staff has always been extremely pleasant and helpful, and the resort offers special discounts to owners for some of the amenities. I personally loved the September week because of the less crowded and peaceful factor, but I admit the weather can be tricky.

    The total property has been greatly and beautifully improved, while maintenance have been kept within reason. The single bedroom units are grouped together as the same. However, without a doubt, my unit has the most scenic view of the ocean and property.
