Is the property on a beach? What is the closest ocean beach, and is transportation service to the beach offered from the villa?

Marriott's Newport Coast Villas is not on the beach. It is located on abluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The closest beach is the CrystalCove State Beach and the resort does offer scheduled shuttle service tothe beach, along with nearby dining and shopping.

The closest beach is Crystal Cove California State Beach. The north endof the beach is closest to the resort, isolated, and less crowded. In thesummer, they have lifeguards stationed along the beach. You can accessthe north end of the beach by walking to it. The shuttle will take you to the center of Crystal Cove where you willfind the Beachcomber restaurant, the Shake Schack Burgers and beachrentals (e.g. chairs, boogie boards...). Read more »
