Per the owner: We first purchased at the Sands of Kahana when on our 25th wedding anniversary—fast forward and next year we will celebrate our 50th anniversary! We immediately fell in love with Maui and against all rhyme and reason, purchased our first unit on that very first visit--Maui can do that to a person. Another compelling reason beyond the resort itself was that the Sands of Kahana actually owns the land upon which it sits. We have been told that this is the only timeshare on Maui that enjoys that feature. Therefore, we can pass down our ownership to surviving family—deeded ownership. The resort has recently received a complete makeover of all of its units. It’s unique setting is almost like having a private beach, close enough to all of the action on Kaanapali and Napili, yet far enough removed to retain privacy and peace. Resort grounds are pristine and stunning, while Kahana offers everything a person might desire. And for those who enjoy craft brews, the Maui Brewing Company is a short walk away. An onsite restaurant and bar on property completes the deal. We own two units—a one bedroom on even years and this two-bedroom unit every year. The two-bedroom units are all on upper floors and enjoy awesome ocean views. As we are about to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, travel is not so much in our future; but we can always cherish our 25 years of memories at the Sands of Kahana.
