We received a contract, a receipt for the money, and a signed guarantee that we would receive 100% or our money back after 180 days if the timeshare didn't sell. The 180 days was up August 26. I have not heard from Chris nor AIC. E-mails to AIC are not answered, nor are calls to Chris Woods cell phone. Any ideas as to how I can make contact with either Woods or the company to get our money returned?

Typical of the lies from upfront fee resale companies.

Hi Carla

I have been trying to get my money back for almost 2 months on a timeshare I needed to cancel. Please don't hold your breath Carla with this company. When which it's rare that someone does answer the phone you will be told some lame excuse. The guy who I typically talk to Chris Wood @ Americap Int, sounds like a nice guy each time almost honest but after time that only goes so far.

I'm not sure how much your out a few that have posted comments on Redweek are out a few thousand dollars with Americap. My original amount was $800 less 10% for cancelling so end amount $720.00. We were using flight miles for air portion, so I was able to get all flight miles back and just out $50 on airline tix.

I feel bad for the people on here that have booked in hopes of a beautiful vacation. I sure hope they have a place to stay or a back up plan once arriving at destination. Good Luck To You Carla!!!!!!!!! Terry Halverson
