Just make sure you know the proper procedures for selling or giving away. From what you described, it sounds like your property is worth about zero dollars (or less) on the resale market.

You can advertise it here on RedWeek. Timeshare Users Group (aka "TUG"; tugbbs.com) is also a reputable listing site. You can advertise there for free in the Bargain deals forum that you want to give your unit away. You can also try listing on E-Bay.

As well, try asking the resort's Homeowners' Association if it will take your unit back. If all else fails, then stop making payments and let it go into foreclosure. Above all, never pay any company a large, upfront fee to sell, rent out, or "cancel" your timeshare.
