I am trying to figure out if it is better to actually exchange our resort through I.I. or to rent it back to Marriott and use our points for airfare and hotel. I did a spread sheet out and cost wise it looks to be about the same. I know there are black out dates, but I can work around that as our schedules are pretty flexible. Wondering how hard it is to trade in points for the vacation package deal. Anyone with experience on this?
