I want to rent out my timeshare in Hawaii. The timeshare is a Hilton Grand Vacations property. Do I have to pay Hawaii the transient accommodations tax, and the general excise tax OR is that paid by the renter to Hilton when they check out? Alternatively, will RedWeek pay the taxes if I use their service?
