Catherine, I suggest you take a look at the Marriott forum on Tug2.net (timeshare users group). They may be able to help you use your points better (more easily) or to rent them out until you can find a buyer. As for the holding account isn't that when you cancel with less than 60 days till your stay. It isn't that different from how Interval relegates you to flexchange exchanges if you cancel less than 59 days from your check in.
