- point rental liquidators

Since Sunset Harbor Resort is in the state of TX, you need to file a complaint with the TX AG and the NV AG. I have to ask why you filed a complaint with the LA AG?

It won't hurt that you filed with the AG in LA, but the main focus should be on Sunset Harbor .... the resort is in TX and the headquarters is in NV.

Chances are that the offices in Las Vegas are just virtual offices siince that is where the corporations were formed. I've been watching this forum since we became involved w/this SHR, PRL and VSI. At the time we bought into this mess we were told signing up w/PRL $498.00(Points Rental Liquidators) would allow BJ to take our points to rent out (had to sign them over to him) and he would give us 8.5Cents/point. Now are you telling me he has another liquidation co. -Resort Rental Liquidators???? We were in the office of SHR in Vegas and it is one small office manned by Lisa and a young man who at the time was doing some filing. Not a pleasant meeting of their office personnel., They tried to charge twice for our maintenance fees. October we will see if any $$$ will be generated for the rental of our signed over points to PRL.

We bought into SHR/PRL on 2/28/12. We were told that we would receive out first check from PRL somewhere around end of October (that will be 6 months from date of purchase of SHR and Paying fees for PRL). We did receive a computer generated Deed from State of Texas, county of Montgomery July 7, 2012 for Sunset Harbor Resort (SHR). When I called down to Sunset Harbor Resorts they said they were backlogged to 2010 in getting all the paperwork done and hired all new people to do the work!!!! Lake Conroe water levels are way down because of the hot dry summer. It still all makes me very nervous about what is going on. Why we had to purchase a timeshare along w/PRL I will never understand.

Well, Sunset Harbor Resorts sure didn't waste any time sending out the invoices for the annual maintenance fees. My parents haven't received any deeds or answers to their lawyer's letter, etc. but they did receive the invoice for maintenance fees real quick. I've read so many posts on here about the whole thing being a scam that I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that check.

Tina, I have stayed subscribed just to see if your parents ever got any resolution. I am sorry to see that, no, they have not. I think when BJ deleted his post promising their refund (I am assuming no one but the author can delete?) that is when my suspicions turned to certainty. So sad! I do hope you keep us posted on any legal satisfaction they are able to obtain.

I bought in back in Jan. of 2012. Was told they would buy my points in July . Since they did not get my deed to me till June now my points are to be bought in Oct. 15. I have my doubts. As for BJ. He does not answer phone calls or emails in a professional manner or for that manner a non professional manner. Stranger to see he is the only officer listed ,does he own PRL??

Yes, BJ owns Point Rental Liquidators, or he did previously .... he's probably looking for another job now due to all the bad publicity, especially from ARDA and his previous socalled clients.

We bought Sunset Harbor (Willis, TX) on April10, 2012 from PRL representing RCI. We have not received our deed and the points have not been transferred to RCI. Has anyone had to wait that long on their Sunset Harbor Deed? We can't get anyone to return our calls.

Sorry to hear you bought . Who was your sales person. Every one has the same problem , no return calls. I bought in January -no deed till June- was to get paid in July -then went to October - now the company (Regional office ) has to talk to BJ about the account and when to pay . They can not get a hold of him they say. The regional office can not do anything or answer any questions untill they talk with (BJ) who just works for them . So you will find any concerns you have goes from BJ to the company and back to BJ. I have sent 8 emails to everyone and still no answer.

I am also to receive payment for my points in October however I can not get an answer from anyone as to how this is to be done. Lisa at th regional office states she can not make contact with the scam man BJ. Amazing that his wife being in the photograph business would alow him to scam people and take a chance on her business.

I too, have been trying to find out questions from our points we turned in to PRL. It doesnt sound good from all I am seeing posting here..most of it sounds identical to what has happened to us also, I get only "i will send him a message" and Have him call, or have her call. Now, they are actually rude to me when I call to find out anything. I cant believe a legit company would treat you like that and not help you with your questions. It has been over a year now and we were promised a check for our rental first in july, now Sept or Oct and now the last time they did talk to me they said we didnt have 150,000 pts but only 75,000 pts and that it would be Dec. before pay. I really am very upset with the way they have treated us and I think something should be done about it.
