alanm232 wrote:Ok guys. I have to say I have worked in the timeshare industry before and know alot about it. And for whoever thinks that rbi isn't going to points is wrong. I do know that prl works because my brother bought it and has been paid out twice now. It did take him 7 months to get paid but it came. I bought in about 3 months ago and will get paid also. I know what works and what don't. Most people on here don't understand that yes there is going to be some scams I. Everything in life but that don't mean everything with the word timeshare attached to it is a scam. Learn how timeshare works before talking on here about it please. I love it because without it I wouldn't be able to go to the places I have gone to. :) any questions feel free to ask. God bless.

PRL is a scam that we have exposed in here over and over again. Anyone that gets involved with them after reading all the posts deserves to lose their money. Anyone that gave them money and has not received anything in return should file a complaint the the Attorney General in their state and the state where PRL claims to be operating from.

YES! I wish that too! I haven't been on here lately bc my work got extremely busy, but I should give an update. My elderly parents got SCAMMED by Hughes Dewailly, Pat Thompson, PRL & Sunset Harbor Resorts. BJ got on here promising to straighten everything out, but now he won't answer my emails. Bank of America is in on this scam also. They know these companies are scam artists, but they continue to allow them to open new credit card accounts and charge huge fees to them. My parents were told so many lies, there's not even enough room here to list them all. BEWARE!

B J Cooke makes you wait 6 months, because after 6 months you can not DISPUTE a clam on you credit card. The credit card will not go after a third party. Bank of America and R C I, are making big bucks from B J Cooke, but they claim they do not know him. Like the rest of you no return calls.

The idea of a lot of us getting together with lawyers sounds real good. If the lawyers can go across the states the results would be so much faster. It looks like our reports are about the same. I'm gained to give it a try.

People that have been scammed by PRL and BJ need to file a complaint with the attorney general of Texas. This is the ONLY WAY that they'll be caught and put out of business. Timeshare scams in Florida are being shut down by the FL AG as we speak ..... as someone stated on another thread, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease". You can google contact info and file online.

See my post in the timeshare company topic about the six people who just got arrested under a federal indictment for timeshare scams. The authorities are cracking down on the scammers but they need victims to come forward so they can nail these low lives.

Correct! All I got was a bunch of delaying tactics. My parents were promised that the entire transaction would cost them $1080, but $9500 was charged to brand new Bank of America credit card accounts opened in their names by Hughes Dewailly and Pat Thompson. Some of the fees were supposedly to join RCI Points Program, but RCI hasn't received anything from them. A deed was supposed to be mailed from Sunset Harbor Resort to my parents within 2 months. It's been over 4 months, but all my parents have received is a BILL for maintenance fees. These scam artists need to be stopped! Does anyone know how to go about getting a CLASS ACTION SUIT started? Sunset Harbor Resorts is the main culprit. They know their "salesmen" are lying to the people to get them to sign the contracts, but they continue the scams.
