Added taxes and fees
lindaw wrote:Lindaw Next time tell kids to go to casino, play penny slots and order whatever drinks they want; two at a time if they choose. Tip $1.00 per drink. No big bill:) PTJust returned. There are no additional fees for II exchanges - in case anyone wants to know. What a pleasant surprise. We ate breakfast and most dinners in our unit so only had a snack/lunch tab and of course the bar tab for the week.

So we know the sink dish soap is a must take. I would also recommend a dishcloth or sponge as the handi wipes they give you for the kitchen are only slightly better than a paper towel. I also always throw 2 SOS or Brillo pads in a plastic bag for cleaning up stuck on food especially if your going to use the convection oven. Thats about it for supplies. Food wise, whateever you feel comfortable with transporting. The oven, is a convection/micro combo and though we did use it for spare ribs and chicken, took a little bit getting used to since I'd never used one before.

I Stayed at the harborside in a 2 bedroom lockoff 2 months ago (April 2023)... so I had 2 kitchens and 2 sets of washer / dryers etc. A bottle of dish soap/ paper towels/ and laundry detergent was left in both units. I happened to bring some pods and some dryer sheets not knowing. There is a shuttle on Sat and Sunday (modest payment for it ... maybe $10)? The grocery store is lovely and there is no need to pack food really. Nice little deli, beautiful fruit, steaks and such if you'd like that ... plenty of dairy items, I happen to pack a small Keurig and coffee pods and I am glad I did that because it may have been a hike to get coffee, and I like my coffee RIGHT THERE. There was a coffee pot in the unit .. so maybe bring a bag of coffee? Nice little liquor store down the sidewalk from the grocery store. The shuttle drivers are used to this and are very accommodating (I tipped them of course). There are nice little grocery carts at the reception desk at harborside so that you will not struggle with cases of water and lots of groceries ... just wheel everything to your unit. We ate out most nights (pretty expensive ... mediocre food) but loved having breakfast food and beverages around. Don't dismiss the restaurant at the Harborside! Close and pretty good.
