United In Discounts

In doing a little more research, I am going to have to retract some of what I said. Thanks to a full Quicken search of my records, I found that I actually DID get my credit card charge refunded about a month later so I guess I was one of the lucky ones. But it was a good eye opener and now when anyone calls with any kind of offer (even the free 3 day/2 night stuff) I hang up

THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!!!

On January 27th of 2015, United Discounts promised that they were going to give us inquires for the weeks that we were renting our time share. They told us to pay $3,000.00 and in return we were going to receive a check for the amount of 12 weeks. The lady that spoke with us was nice, we even told her that it was too good to be true, that maybe it was a scam and she said no, why would we lie, this is for our troops that fight for our country. She sent us an email with a video that had military family. I was so naive to believe in them. Today is December 3rd and I have only received 1 inquiry and no check. Now I need the money and can't get a hold of them. I just want a complete refund. Don't let these people fool you.

Sorry to hear that you got scammed. This the way scam artists typically operate. You can try reporting this to the Attorney-General of the state where they are located.

Now for a further warning. You seem determined to get your money back. This is where more scam artists (or the same one under a different name) claim they can get your money back if you pay them some sort of fee. Again, another scam.
