Anyone have experience with Castle Law Group, PC out of Tennessee
I agree with anyone who has posted their dissatisfaction with Castle Law Group in Nashville TN. We paid them up front $8000.00 for them to give four Time Shares back to the appropriate Time Shares. All we wanted was to be released from the maintenance fees. Shirley is in a wheel chair and I’m 83 years old. We can not travel any more and we are on a limited income. And several Dr. bills. They did 2 of the Time Shares but left us hanging with the other two. You can’t even get ahold of them now. What a rib off.

Jeff Johnson, My wife and I signed a contract with Castle Law Group on July 31,2016, We have yet to have our case resolved. it was more than a year before we received a letter stating it was returned to a "marketing arm" Resort Relief (consultants) with no relief. I would like to have our $4050.00 returned to us or complete the job you were hired to do in the first place. I have tried calling and was also told the it was in a bundle and didn't know which bundle it was located. Is it a part of the strategy to allow the Time share to go to foreclosure and then fix the problem? When as a representative calling to ask to cancel the Time Share through return of deed would have expedited the cancelation process. We paid hard earned money for what? This borders as fraud to me. Please respond explaining why my file was returned and no fee's returned. Tried calling and got voicemail and an email address. How are you going to find my email in the amount of emails received from disgruntled clients?

Should the Senior Consultant deem a case meeting the Firm's qualifying criteria, that Consultant would then educate the prospective client on CLG's process of a legal timeshare cancellation, the benefits of the Firm's representation, the anticipated time frame for resolution, and provide a quote regarding legal fees for services. Currently, based upon a number of different timeshare Developers that our attorneys are dealing with in representing clients, the average time frame for resolution is 6 months or less.
It seems that this mentioned time frame was either misunderstood by; or, not properly conveyed to the supposed client whom supplied the prior post. Had the expectations been clear on this matter, I'm sure there would have been no complaints referenced from this individual merely 30 days following retaining legal services (nor, would there had been mentioning of the lack of communication during the holiday months of November and December). Personally, I did not have the pleasure of speaking with this person. However, I can only apologize for a colleague's possible neglect in providing information effectively; and, offer some assistance moving forward. Feel free to contact me direct. Thank you.

You are wasting your time here. Jeff Johnson left Castle when he moved way before I left, and I have been gone a year and a half. If you want any chance of any help from anyone, you need to go to the appropriate authorities previously mentioned in this thread.

The lady I was helping, lost $9980 to this scheme. She did file a complaint with the licensing department for attorneys. What I find as unacceptable is the Republican Party has this guy under their wings. I am a republican so I find this very offensive. Judson Phillips is always commenting in the editorials of the newspaper in Nashville, when I posted comments calling him out, the newspaper deleted them. There is obviously a problem in the State of TN, and this guy must grease a lot of pockets with all the money he is scamming do be in business so long. How about everyone start tweeting what a crook he is so it will get some national attention. Maybe FOX news should have them on their show or at least help bring to the attention of the Republican party what a ROTTEN apple this guy is.

My husband and I had a Wyndham 1 week timeshare in New Orleans we only paid maintenance fees for and when we went in Oct, 2016 they invited us to a seminar about a program to be able to move the time share locations around so we could go other places. Wyndham Vacation Resorts and Club Wyndham. Thought it was a good idea and after 8 hours, with no food or breaks and constant pressure, we signed the papers. Once I got home and we started getting the bills, reality set in and the costs are outrageous. They put over $12,000 on a Barclay credit card and financed the other $8850 with Wyndam for a total cost of just over $21,000. There is a Paypal account but I never followed through with the set up so I am not sure if we owe any money to them. The monthly payments total almost $400 and when it is all settled, I will have paid over $15,000 to Wyndham, $33,388 to Barclay and not sure how the Wyndham Club and Paypal work into all of that. That is over twice what the original cost was! I paid Wyndam, Wyndam Plus, and Barclay until February, 2017 and then signed up with Castle Law Group, who encouraged me to stop all the payments. Paid $3500 up front and have never heard from them again. I read about the lawsuits and other complaints. I have tried reaching them since June, 2017 and phone numbers don't work, emails were getting kicked back, and website is shut down for construction. I have already contacted the BBB, Attorney General, and Board of Professional Responsibility and filed complaints like suggested in this forum. I am extremely hesitant to pay for someone else to help me get out of this mess. I read about other people who got out of it themselves. I want to do that too but I have no idea where to start and who to contact first, and I am getting confused with the contract and all the information out there and I am not sure who to trust anymore. This forum seems like a very good place to start and I like that there are people on this website that actually stick up for people posting and protect them from other predators and scammers. So I signed up today and I am reaching out for any help, guidance, and advice.

I went through that process and even received the card showing case and account number with CLG. How dare you say it is a simple mixup or misunderstanding of the process. What I know is that I got a letter stating We were no longer being represented by CLG in August 27,2017. When I contacted SilverLeaf, after I received a demand letter I called and tried to talk to them at that point, I could not discuss the case with them because they show that CLG was still representing me. Where is the phone call telling me that my file went back to the resort relief “consulting “ firm so I could get another lawyer and the money that I paid to get this done. Why am I left dangling in the wind squirming when CLG put me there. I want my money back.

Keep in mind that reporting them to the BBB will accomplish nothing. Are they even a member of the BBB? Your best bet right now would be to report them to the TN Attorney-General. I believe from reading this thread that many victims of this so-called law firm have done so but the more reports, the stronger the case the A-G could have in prosecuting this company and perhaps with a feint hope, get restitution for the victims.
I don't know if you still own your timeshare and, if so, whether or not you are still looking to get rid of it. As you have now learned the hard way, never pay any other company a large, upfront fee to supposedly "cancel" your timeshare. That is almost always a scam.
If you want to get rid of it, try asking the resort's Homeowners' Association to take it back. Even if the HOA asks you to pay closing costs and even the next maintenance fee, you will still come out farther ahead than paying any of these law firms or other companies that claim they can get you out of your timeshare. You can also say to the HOA in no uncertain terms that you are not paying another penny in maintenance fees (unless the HOA agrees to take your unit back) and that it would be in everyone's best interests for the unit to go back to the resort.
Another option would be to list your unit for sale or giveaway here on RedWeek. You could also use other reputable timeshare websites such as Craigslist, E-Bay, Timeshare Users Group, or My Resort Network.

Go back to the first day this thread started . I was the second person to post on here . Then I stated that they only want your upfront money . Anyone who lost their money after reading that post deserves to lose their hard earned money . I spent over twenty five years in law enforcement and this SCAM stood out too clearly . Do you pay a contractor in full before he completes his work..... of course not . Then why would you pay someone you " heard about " on the internet in full ?
Never pay anyone money upfront that claims they can get you out of your contract !!

Edward, You do realize that Jeff Johnson no longer works for Castle and he most likely doesn't even read this forum anymore, don't you?
You are wasting your time trying to talk to him here. He is not with them anymore. He left before I did, and I have been gone for a year and a half.
You need to look at other places to complain to because it is doing you absolutely no good in this thread.
I wish you the best of luck!

While I applaud your resolve, I would be careful about a few things. First, your best bet is to report this company to the TN Attorney-General. It looks like many others on this board have also done so. So, the more the merrier.
I would just caution you about hiring a law firm or a class action suit. They are gambles at best. And even if you do win, these suits can drag on and sometimes leave you with very little after the lawyers get their cut. Just don't let emotion get in the way of good judgment.

I would really love some advice on how to do that as I was duped by Castle as well

A word of caution is in order here. I believe that "saram281" (who posted the above quoted nonsense / attempted advertising some time ago) has now been banned from posting in these RedWeek forums at all. She could of course attempt to come back and resurrect her bogus solicitation efforts with a new user name.
There are NO easy or magical exits from the legal obligations of timeshare ownership --- period, amen. If you believe otherwise, you are probably also expecting to receive a personal visit from the Easter Bunny tomorrow on Easter Sunday.
