Manhattan Club Lawsuit
Keep signing up. This is going to take a FIGHT but enough waiting - enough of being bullied and taken advantage of. This nonsense they have caused for years needs to come to an end. Let’s do this gang!
Mr Zimmerman is a good bet! I know him fairly well as myself and margo started this thing with him and got him moving. Let’s put our faith in him - he has certainly rolled up his sleeves but it takes time and money to fight.

It has been years of being exploited by the proven crooks that have made fools of us . They have taken the entire value of your carefully considered investment of many thousands of dollars and turned it into a worthless joke where many owners are begging someone to "buy" their share for $100 so they can run and hide from this mess. Others are frozen in indecision, should I continue to pay for absolutly nothing and perhaps hope someone or thing saves them . Others stopped paying more fees yet continue to wonder what to do despite 250 pages of back and forth comments and repetitive BS on red week. To the recent writters , I would guess that the number of members who have joined is perhaps small compared to the outragiously large number of people that have been sold the same room and now cant use it. Face the facts--- we have all lost the entire value of our stupid investment and the only way we can gain a measure of our self respect and possibly come out of this owning something we already paid for is to take $1250 which is half of maintanance and play roulette with the only game in town......Zimmerman. Enough indecision , questions , and BS from "owners" who dont understand that this is the ONLY train we can catch and if we dont get many of us on it NOW, the bastards will take the train and our building and find a way to reconstitute their scheme and resell it again. Before one additional question or comment is posted consider the above I have my lawyer representing my interests, whos protecting yours?????

i understand and agree with your concerns about the number of TMC clients jean-marc zimmerman currently has. i have had direct contact with him and his associate attorney, asking them that same question. their response was, in my opinion, very reasonable and CAUTIOUS: many people including TMC, ITS TOP MGMT TEAM AND ALL OF THEIR NYC ATTORNEYS have direct access to this redweek forum. if zimmmerman divulged the current number of his clients, it could possibly be leaked here and read by TMC, et al. that information could show the exact numerical strength of jean-marc's legal stragegies. so he understandably, held out answering my question. my opinion is that he appears to be progressing quite satisfactorily in preparing legal documents in our behalf. (look back a few pages in this redweek.com forum to note how you can access documents that he has already developed and made known to TMC, et al.)
i have put full trust in jean-marc and his associate, steve. i sent in my retainer information about 2 weeks ago. unless and until other and better legal representation becomes available to us, we should all stand united with jean-marc and steve.
my strong suggestion for your consideration ( with the usual caveat of no guarantees of legal outcomes) is to join his suit asap. life is full of risks: simply crossing the street has them. it seems to me that joining this suit is a low-risk investment in becoming somewhat financially (and otherwise) whole concerning the ultimate fraud perpetrated against us by TMC.
think about it.
in unity, chris

hello sidney f6,
we are on the same page! if all who *****ed and moned on redweek would consider joining zimmerman and steve, his co-attorney, we will most likely have an excellent case against our criminally fraudulent enemies: TMC/ITS TOP MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES/and possibly BLUEGREEN.

To Chris V and others who have joined...... Perhaps the time is comming that those who have joined the suit could have some semi secure log in site that could be used by us to share info and ideas and get some access to Zimmerman inf/progress etc. I know some info needs to be held tight but perhaps we could work toward having a steering committee established so we have some knowledge /direction/ of what Z is doing and provide some feedback. We could meet in owners lounge quarterly......HA HA

sidney,
-wow, sounds like a plan. i would love meeting some of my fellow defrauded owners, LEGALLY VICTORIOUS, in the 26-floor TMC LOUNGE. run your idea by jean-marc. a SECURE TMC OWNER WEBSITE (with a password) is a good idea, but it would probably cost several hundred to develop. we won't know how viable that would be unless we present it.

Sidney,
We do have a mechanism to share ideas and it is called THE COALITION. I manage the list and I can send private email messages out to all members. The Coalition has over 50 members and Chris and I have disseminated several emails over the past couple of months. We could use this mechanism as an option.

is a requirement for coalition membership being a member of the suit? hAS ZIMMERMAN considered distributing process info to suit members within coalition membership........I am all for your existing coalition setup if yes. If coalition is attempting to move conversation and MOVEMENT to action ....ok but if 50 members are not already moving foward after all this time, we show exceeding weakness No disrespect but at 73 yrs old, I dont buy green bananas any more.
Sidney F.
sidney,
the COALITION is separate and distinct from the lawsuit. members of the coalition are encouraged to consider joining the zimmerman lawsuit. there, is no preclusion in joining one or the other, or both. neither offers guarantees of outcomes of success, but each displays a step in the right direction in combatting TMC, et al. these avenues are all that we currently have to work with. each is working toward mutual outcomes, so the separation and distinction is a matter of structure: the lawsuit is headed by attorneys to address issues with TMC in court. the coaliton is an ad hoc group established for the main reason of communication among owners at TMC only done privately by coalition members, and usually only via email. the list is securely maintained. we send info to members and they respond to, for example, mr zimmerman. themselves if they wish to do so. we release contact information only via bona fide email requests from coaliton members to us to do so, as the situation dictates.
to join the coalition contact ms fitzmaurice at her email address.............................

Please keep in mind that Mr. Zimmerman is taking legal action on a individual basis, not a class action. His interest in keeping numbers confidential is a prudent one. I would not recommend any divulgence whatsoever, of the strength of our numbers. He has already been pretty liberal with his current filings and actions. I have reviewed his approach and believe it's a good one. Each of you must make their own decision, to join or not. Best of luck to all.

gail,
there's a good possibility that i can arrange to be at TMC on one of the last june week days: 23 to through 29. if we can decide on an outward, but not obvious, sign of identification..........of course secretly between us, that would make sense. i'll check my calendar more carefully. if we can pull off this meeting that would be fine. I'll note my email here if i can make it. we live in nyc suburb so my wife and i take one-two days a month between june and november for a getaway.
