Yep, Warren, Avon. We spoke to a guy there who was attending and he was smarter than we were and left before we did. Ha. Live and learn.

Again, I just wanted to say a big thank you to JayJay and DonP for leading the way here with their beratements and encouragements to us all.

When I spoke to BJ he was on a cell phone outside of the hospital where his wife was undergoing GI surgery. He had had the surgery himself and lost approx. 200 pounds. (The couple apparently had a combined weight in excess of 700 pounds). Unfortunately, it sounds like BJ inadvertently had his soul removed in the process.

Jeff, you seem to know BJ personally (since he answered your call) .... is he not aware that he's a wanted man by the hundreds of people that he's scammed?

How long ago were you scammed? Have you tried disputing the charges thru your credit card company? Any other things you've tried? Any encouraging news?

Our last contact with BJ was on 8-29-12. We had him on speakerphone and he fielded all of our questions . He told us to be patient as the "pay outs" were running behind schedule. If we had any f/u q's we were to contact his assistant, Misty. We called her and BJ numerous times but, by then, I think that they assumed a low profile. And, in response to someone's question: No, we stupidly did not follow-up with the credit card company. I am pursuing a couple of leads but do not hold out much hope. I will be glad to share what I find out if/when I find it out.

One final thought: I wonder if it would not be of some benefit for all of us to share the names (and partial names) of all the scam artists along with their phone numbers--to be forwarded on to a federal investigative office. . As I hear it, BJ, Willie Rios, Robt. "Guy" Russell and their cohorts have run their scam in multiple states making it, I think, a federal interstate crime. I personally have 4 names with phone numbers. I have other names without ph nos. Some of you have the address of "Guy's" clinic in NV. Some agent with the right computer resources might be able to pull this info together and develop a case. Another thought is Sen. Elizabeth Warren's office in MA. She has a reputation for championing consumer causes. Maybe her staff would want to look at this-- esp. if there is evidence that BJ,et al came to her state.

P.S. A review of the last 10 pages of this blog shows that BJ and his associates have ventured into at least 10 states: TX, LA, NV, IN, IL, TN, GA, OH, WI & FL.

Add Virginia to that list.

I requested a refund of the $498 PRL fee from Sunset Harbor and got a call from Tom Turner. Needless to say, we will be getting nothing, although we were offered time at Sunset Harbor without using our points.

I lost my money in new jersey 8-9-11 thats over a year and a half ago

B.J. I not sure you read these post but if you do, I hope you do the right thing. There is no joy at the expense of others pain. Please do the right thing!

Adding AL, MI, ME & NJ to the list gives us a total of 15. I'll wait for confirmation from someone re MA, CN and any other states.

One thought re logistics: I fully assume that BJ and other evildoers are monitoring this message string. How can we communicate freely without showing any more of our hand to them? I am not very computer savvy so any ideas you have will need to be broken down in pretty simple terms. Thanks.

Also, during one talk with Merilee in Sep. 2011, she told me she was going to forward my complaints to the supervisor, John Evan, who was in Chicago at that time.

I have writen to AG in Las Vegas , they can not help Las Vegas Real estate - They stated they can not help BBB in Las Vegas - they have not responded RCI- no response Illinois AG-They sent a card back that they will look into the concern and also stated they are sending a letter to SSH ILLinois Real Estate -They can not help, that was about a month ago Texas AG- No response Texas Real estate- Claimed they are working on some thing that may help Just wrote to Indiana AG- waiting for a response FederalTrade Comm.- waiting for a response. My next step ,if no one will help will be the News media , sending all info and names to TV stations. They may be interested to know that all these departments getting paid with tax money to help the american people ,will not or can not ( as they claim)-- HELP

I actually hope that BJ is monitoring this string .... he will realize that he will be caught eventually.
