We were contacted by Banamex, a large bank in Mexico, and were told we would need to open an account to receive a refund from Kovay, but it would cost us over US$ 5,000.

They said I would need to pay 4200 to the Mexico authorities to sell before the contract could be completed since I am a foreigner??

Has anyone here been contacted by a supposed law firm named Bravo Manzo Legal Attorneys? We have received several calls from a man by the name of Carlos Daniel Miller, who says they can get a settlement to include punitive damages. The amount would be several times more than what we paid (red flag). He does not want any money. He says that we must open a bank account in Mexico to have the money deposited and then wire transferred to us. Since we are not Mexican citizens or residents, we must pay a 3% fee to open the account, but we will get that money back when we receive the settlement. The amount to open the account is a little over US$5000. Has anyone else gotten anything like this?
