Vacation Property Resales

It's illegal for them to take a commission because you have to be a licensed real estate broker to collect a commission and they are not real estate brokers.
By the way, a deeded timeshare interval is true real estate and is subject to the same real estate laws as a regular house or condo is.

Actually, it's not illegal for timeshare brokers such as www.timesharebrokersmls.com/ to take a commission after a sale .... what is illegal is for timeshare resale companies to take an upfront fee.

I am glad that someone had a good experience with Buy and timeshare. Two years ago, I paid $1,500, I know it was a dumb idea now, of course they said my 3 bedroom in Branson would sell for $15,000, After one year, I lowered the price to $5,000, and still no takers. buy a timeshare has a very good marketing tool and sales pitch, and that is about all they have. after all of that expense, sold the unit to a good friend who will reture in 2013, and is looking forward to taking cruise trips and other vacation place since he will be a member of Interval . I have read in the other postings that supposedly there are some, but none were listed.I have a primier property at Banff Rocky Mountain Resort outside of Calgary, Alberta Canada for week 26--which includes both the July 1st Canada Day, and July 4th holidays. It is a Gold Crown 2 bed/2 bath and a good number of the units have just been fully refurbished with the latest imenities!
My single days of fishing over July 4th are gone, so I need to sell, rent or swap it for something closer in AZ; or near my family in Minnesota.
