The disclaimer link you received in the email from TMC is not working, returns the 404 error message thus it's illegal. Let them know! www.tmcny.com/tmc-email-disclaimer.htm
In regards to the explanation for Bluegreen' usage of the MC website for their reservations it's illegal also. Bluegreen is the TMC owner (or collective owners), their owners' rights are equivalent to ours. So if Bluegreen has been provided with the right to post their reservations, we, supposedly might advertise our rentals to the public on OUR website.

So if nothing else, I am persistent. I have read and participated in blogs on this website, on Facebook disgruntled owners and the yahoo user group. I have come to the conclusion that there are 3 ways to proceed from here: 1) Continue to post blogs as we are doing now and get some comfort from the ability to complain and vent to each other. I am of the opinion that these blogs do not help our cause. For example, these posts about the annual meeting are otherwise a waste of time. The AG already knows about how the board is elected and how the elections are fixed. I attended one of these meetings several years ago and they are complete scams. The vote is permanently stacked in Eichner's favor and can't/won't be changed. 2) Do nothing. (Essentially the same as 1.) 3) Join the group that has hired a NY real estate attorney and funnel important information to the AG. It also is important to show that we are a large group (now up to 23) with some clout and that we are willing to spend $500 to promote our cause. Needless to say, 3), in my opinion is the only way to proceed. My contact info is listed above and I hope you will come to the same conclusion that I have. Jonathan

jonathan, it's essential to all of us who are thinking about working with the real estate attorney that you have recommended and paid, for us to have his/her name so we can personally verify credentials and previous outcomes in cases like ours with THE MANHATTAN CLUB. the name of the law firm is also important for us to check reliability and past performance. why hasn't this information been provided to us owners in order for us to make our own educated decision that this proposal is or isn't of benefit to us? we have all contributed to the NYSAG'S folio of information concerning our losses due to the fraud and scamming of THE MANATTAN CLUB principals. i don't understand why mr. schneiderman would need this information funneled though an outside attorney since he has his own cadre of deputies working for him.

These blogs are valuable to share information as long as owners are keeping themselves up to date on what is happening at the club, rather than just carping about what happened long ago. Here are upcoming events for people to participate in the future of the club and exert some power over their ownership: The next AG court conference is May 1. The one-year anniversary date of the AG's legal case is July 24. The next owners association meeting is Aug. 4.

I agree with you Chris. I, for one, have sent an email recapping my experience at the MC to the AG's office and the emails were never delivered. Is there something else I should do to get them my info? I, too, would like to know more about the attorney. Thank you, Flavia

My husband and I received this email today. We have already called and put our names on the list to attend the annual meeting on August 4. You must call to attend the meeting. Let's get as many owners as we can to attend.

it appears that none of us owners/manhattan club shareowners (and victims of scamming and fraud) has made attempts to contact the non sponsored manhattan club board members WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT US OWNERS (PRESUMABLY, THEIR BEING ONWNERS/SHAREHOLDERS JUST LIKE US.) i recently emailed bob ballot for his version of how we are being represented (especially with reference to the lawsuit) by the non sponsor board members. ha...he referred my inquiry to "the developer" who i assume is his superior, for a response to my email (a joke in itself)......IAN BRUCE EICHNER AND HIS OTHER VOTING BOARD MEMBERS. THE FOLLOWING ARE THE THREE CURRENT NON SPONSOR BOARD MEMBERS, AGAIN OWNERS JUST LIKE US. IT'S ABOUT TIME FOR THEM TO DO THEIR JOB ON OUR BEHALF..............: Patricia Soltys Non-Sponsor Board Member email: patti.tmcny@gmail.com James Dunphy Non-Sponsor Board Member email: jdunphytmcny@hotmail.com Robert Ballot Non-Sponsor Board Member email: bbb174@aol.com ALL OF US SHOULD DEMAND THAT THEY RESPOND DIRECTLY TO OUR INQUIRES WITH PERTINENT AND TIMELY INFORMATION PER OUR REQUESTS. LET'S GET ON OUR COMPUTERS FELLOW REDWEEK.COM BLOGGERS..
GOOD (HOLIDAY) WISHES TO ALL OF US. HOPEFULLY, SOME POWERFUL FORCE (YOUR CHOICE) IS WITH US.
KEEP IN TOUCH. LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU. CHRIS. (not shouting with CAPS; they're for emphasis only or to highlight important points. {i usually use only lower case when i type...saves using the shift key})

As an attorney myself, I support Chris' message & request to I.D. the attorney already retained so those (including me) inclined to join the client group can do our own "due diligence" before contributing to the legal costs. Mediation is a popular dispute resolution process in NYC. Anybody thought to propose that to the Board to attempt agreement on at least some of Owners' issues, such as substantially reducing the current advance reservation time/delays to reserve our contracted time??
