shirleya142 is clearly just "manufacturing" a question, using a shill post by judys580 from March 7, 2016 (nearly a year ago) as a "springboard" / excuse to float up the Castle Law Group name, artificially "creating" some "buzz" and name exposure. BOTH of the above two quoted posts, btw, are each the one and only submissions EVER made by by each one of these two phony (and not very subtle) would-be advertisers for "Castle Law Group".

Anyone seeing the above two quoted (bogus) post "inquiries", both artificially introducing and circulating the Castle Law Group name, should look at all of the OTHER posts from numerous unhappy people, all reporting and complaining about getting ZERO results after sending money to "Castle Law Group". In short, anyone choosing to send their hard earned money to those parasites can just kiss that money goodbye --- with no valid basis to later claim that no one ever warned them. Your money will be GONE and you will STILL own the timeshare that you were desperate to unload. Be smart, people --- just don't even go there.

Shills can try very hard to salvage / resurrect / promote the "Castle Law Group" name, but the actual results (NONE) speak for themselves, very loudly and very clearly.

Look at this another way, folks. The Timeshare Users Group (http://www.tug2.net) has nearly 80,000 members. NEVER, in what is now over 20 years of well informed discussion forums, has ANYONE there EVER reported ANY form or flavor of success with this "Castle Law Group". Shills very promptly get eaten alive on TUG, but the RedWeek forums seem to have less informed and much less experienced participants --- a target-rich environment for shills promoting the alleged "services" of Castle Law Group and other such entities falsely promising "exit / release / escape / relief" --- always for big upfront money.. The "service" that they provide is essentially to take money away from desperate and unwary people. Forewarned is forearmed.

Yes, do yourself a favor and work with someone else. It has been a year and a half and I still do not have my refund from their failure to do as my contract says. After a year and no offer, as promised, I have been getting the run around since November. I am actually heading to their office to sit face to face since my phone calls are never returned. This in spite of the fact my daughter is a paralegal at another firm. I gave her permission to speak on my behalf, she has been passed from one person to another with no results. See there is no "responsible"party. They closed their Mt.Juliet office which was their "timeshare" office. Supposedly the person handling the cases that their marketing group culled off lists no longer works there. The Marketing group also no longer works for them.

I have seen Facebook adds for Wellesey Group. Apollo has bailed out Diamond Resorts as a struggling company. You can sometimes resolve issues by contacting the company yourself. Lawyers will make you believe you can get your money back but it is unlikely, they usually specialize in getting you out, but you spend money and end up with a big fat nothing.

File a complaint with your states Bar Association. They have control over attorney conduct and it costs you nothing. If they claim they are a law group then they are subject to discipline by the bar association. If they are not associated with an attorney then you can file a complaint with the Attorney General in that state for false advertising. Go after them and make their lives as miserable as possible without spending more money. It's your right to complain. Good Luck and let us know how it works out. Use public forums like this one to expose these bottom feeders.

You got that right. They use Judson Phillips name, because he is ex- attorney General in Tennessee. He must have been a better Politician than he is a lawyer. The group lacks integrity, there is a complaint avenue through the attorney general's office you can call1-800-342-8385 inside Tennessee. The DCA handles incidents of fraud, which is the real issue here. Outside Tennessee the number is 615-741-4737.

Really. I have Westgate as well, and they are telling me that the law is favorable to the clients there as the judge does not like timeshares....have they done anything for you since your original post?

In October 2015 we signed up with Castle Law Group out of Tennessee. They began their sales pitch just like yours. "Has anyone ever been lied to by a timeshare representative............." They promised to begin their process to force Westgate to release us from our contract due to fraud the day they received our commitment check. They promised the communication would be very open and frequent with us--every time they sent or received correspondence. They also had a money back guarantee. We heard nothing for a month. When we called the representative that I originally spoke with, the phone went to voice mail. He never returned my call. I tried another number in which I was supposed to speak with "my" assigned legal assistant. The receptionist I spoke with said she was not available. She had many excuses as to why the process had not been started. She thanked me graciously for being understanding. My reply was, "I don't know what gave you the idea I am understanding. You are acting just like the Westgate Timeshare representatives." I got busy with holiday travel. I am just now making it a top priority to do what I can to get our money back.

This is worrying me. I am about to pay 6k for litigation. IF not this, what is a better answer?

So you actually paid to sue, and they have done nothing? Not filed a lawsuit?

NEVER pay anyone money upfront that claims they can get you out of your contract especially a bottom feeding law firm. If you feel you need the assistance of an attorney contact one where you live. Why on earth would anyone give someone they " heard about " on the internet their hard earned money ?

I'm starting to worry. We paid them close to $5K last year to get us out of our contract with Coral Sands. It's been almost a year & they have accomplished nothing. Has anyone had closure & a good experience with them? I'm starting to fear that we've been scammed AGAIN.

File complaints with the Attorney General and the Bar Association in the state where they practice .

Sound advice, but I'm not convinced that the "Castle Law Group" consists of (or has any) actual licensed attorneys at all in the first place. If not, reporting non-attorneys to the TN Bar Association would be just a pointless exercise in futility. Filing a formal complaint with TN AG office would still be appropriate however and I previously provided complete, detailed contact information for the TN AG office and the complaint process within this thread.

In 30+ years of association with timeshares, I have NEVER ONCE heard or read of even a single satisfactory or productive experience with "Castle Law Group". Not once, not ever. You can draw your own conclusions from that particular personal observation.

The Attorney General can order them to stop calling themselves a law group .

You are absolutely correct, and of course, we could add other such firms pretending to me law firms - try Mitchell Sussman & Co in Palm Spings, CA, Timeshare Lawyers in Orlando, FL and on and on.

When you got rid of your timeshare on your own, did you take a hit on your credit rating?

Why would I take a hit on my credit ratting. It was paid off. All I did was file a quit claim and return it to the resort .

You should mention that the resort has to first agree to accept a quit claim deed for the week.
