Also keep in mind that you ARE walking distance to a beautiful Marina. On the Marina boardwalk there are many restaurants and bars and shops too!! All vary in price but are pretty reasonable and have great food and a fabulous view of some premium yachts. Also can book fishing trips and tours along the boardwalk. Another good think is there is no one there pounding you to buy a timeshare. Across the street from the Mayan is a small grocery store for snacks and beverages for the guests that have a fridge in there unit.

There is also bus service. We have not used it ourselves, but the buses look pretty nice. Better than some of the cabs!

As "vacker" indicates, some units have small kitchens and some are more like hotel rooms with no stove or fridge. A Master Room is the hotel type. A One Bedroom Suite has separate bedroom and livingroom/kitchenette. A Master Suite combines both types into a connected two bedroom unit.
