Buying, Renting, and Selling Timeshares

Timeshare Club Marbella

Jan 01, 2007

Hello all, and Happy New Year!

I am an owner of a timeshare @ Club Marbella, and tho ive had many good years there, currently I wont be going back, probably for some years, if at all.

Last year I had contacted a reseller, Travelandleisure.co.uk. They took an advertising fee (tho they said id get it back IF the timeshare sells), but i really feel ive lost the money. (has anyone have experience of this company?)

I'd like to know my options, really, from an independant source.

Where can I get a valuation on my timeshare? Are there management companies that will rent out my timeshare or is it all privatly run?

I own the deeds to Timeshare from Crown Resorts @ Club Marbella weeks 32 & 33 . It is a Floating appartment that sleeps 6 Privacy 4.

I also own a 2 week t/s at Club Marbella and have been trying to sell since Sept 2006 with Travel & Leisure, Worldwide timeshare Hypermarket, and in my local papers, I think the market has slowed down of late but hopefully might pick up in the spring 2007. regarding setting your selling price all you can do is compare other sales at the same site. I cant understand why more people are not buying into timeshare because the savings are enormous. my week in spain costs approx £550 for 2 people. my brother has just paid £1500 for a a week at Lake Garda Italy for 2 people in a Hotel. raymond193
