We noticed a lovely timeshare for rent in London called De Vere Mews by a gentleman named Leonard Benjamin. Little by little as I deal with him through this potential rental process, I'm becoming suspicious of his honesty. Timeshare forums say never to rent when payment is requested via Western Union (that's what he is asking for). He does not give me any of his personal information, but that of his agent. Have any of you worked with this gentleman before? Or had experience with De Vere Mews timeshare in Mayfield, London??? His asking price is quite a bit too low or the season and the fact the apartment is 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, with air.

Thanks for your help!!

Hi Lynne,

Hope you are receiving my emails about this situation. Please forward this owner's emails to us at support@redweek.com. This definitely sounds fishy but please let us take a look at the emails. In the mean time, don't send him any money.

Thanks, Marty

The De Vere Mews address he gives is in Mayfair but is not the real address of the De Vere Mews timeshares in London which are right off Devere Gardens. I, too, am suspect.
