Timeshare Exchanges

America's 400th Anniversary

Apr 01, 2007

I have several units avaiable for rent or exchange in Williamsburg during the big week that the Godspeed comes to Jamestown and have had no response whatsoever. Any ideas or suggestions as what I can do different? This is my first attempt to do this with Redweek.com and I am frustrated. The dates are fast approaching and they have been posted since last year.

You need a new posting. People don't look at or respond to postings that are too old.

Keep lowering your rental price until you start getting some interest. You will then have hit what the market (renter) is willing to pay for your week.

Many people list their rentals and sales far too high experiencing unrealistic expectations.

----------------------- Jayjay is right about the price. There are a lot of Williamsburg units available for rent with prices all over the map. People are savy with TS rentals. They will scout out the best prices. I've tried to rent out Willliamsburg units (summer weeks) at a rate to cover my fees and a SMALL profit (i.e $600-$700/week) and still had very limited success. Checkout vacationtimesharerentals.com. There are currently 2 ads looking for Williamsburg rentals, though I don't know if they are still in the market.
