Where to stay
We have stayed at the Costa Linda which is on a very long, wide, beautiful stretch of beach & not as busy as Palm Beach. We have only seen the Playa Linda from the exterior. Palm Beach is much more crowded & there is a lot of activity. Resorts & hotels are a lot closer together on Palm Beach. There are a lot of hotel restaurants, shopping, casinos within walking distance. We have been to Aruba 3 times & always visit Palm Beach. We would be happy at either location.

On our honeymoon in 1988 we stayed at the Divi on Eagle Beach. Upon returning to Aruba the last 4 years, we have been staying on Palm Beach, but we are going to try something different next year and go back to Eagle Beach.
Palm Beach is much more crowded, there isn't a large expanse of beach like there is on Eagle Beach, and it's much busier. We've loved it there, but this time we're looking for a little more peace and quiet. Also, some (not all) of the resorts on Eagle Beach aren't as kid-friendly, or that's how it seems anyway.
We decided last year on Palm Beach that sitting right next to someone at the beach was not what we wanted next time around, thus the change.
We stayed at Playa Linda the last 2 years and it's a GREAT resort.
Good luck - you'll be happy at either beach, without a doubt, it just depends on what kind of vacation you want. Peace and quiet and more romantic, or busier with good people watching and less beach space! :)
