renting a posted floating week

I own a specific week at a resort. If I wanted to rent a unit at another resort which is posted as "floating", is there a way that I can get desired week? Obviously, this is new to me. I have never dealt with any party other that RCI or II.

You would need to contact the owner to have them check with their resort to ask if the week you desire is available. Floating means that they have a week within a block of time each year that they can use but they need to check with their resort first to make sure that the particular week is available.
