What is an average all inclusive fee?

Feb 27, 2008

I am trying to figure out prices and have heard about the all inclusive fee not being included so I was wondering if someone could give me an estimate of what it would be or where could I find it out. Thanks.

======= The fees can be all over the map, but I've seen fees range from $70-$80 per adult per day (low end) to over $200 (some resorts in peak season). Some resorts charge per person, other resorts charge per unit. Some charge per day, some charge per week. Some are mandatory and some are not. Also, what resorts actually include can differ from place to place. For example, if there is a 5-star restaurant on the premises, the resort might only allow a couple meals per week to be eaten at that restaurant.

If your looking for a specific resort check their website if they have one. If it is an RCI resort, the RCI directory lists the fees. Go to rci.com and select the 'Resort Directory' tab Search for Mexico/Cancun (they have tons of all-inclusives) Select a resort which indicates 'All Inclusive' About half way down the resort listing you will see a link for 'All Inclusive', go to that link to see the resort's prices.

Keep in mind that website prices may not be up to date, but this should give you an idea of various costs. Mike

They really are all over the map. Other things that sometimes need to be factored is they may have minumums. So a 2 bedroom may require 4 or more inclusive fees even if only 2 occupy the unit. The fees might allow children for free or not allow at all. Siome may charge a smaller fee for kid, no fee, or just not allow. lots to consider. Jim

I was just at Pariduses punta Cana the AI fee is 100 per day per person. The yearly fees are 1000 so it would cost me 2600 for a 7 night vacation without air. I booked my trip from BJ'S travel and paid 2800 with air. Then they wanted 26000 to belong to there resort. The salesman told me I was lying about the price I paid. He went and looked it up on there website and sad thanks for your time and out the door I went.
