Just purchased @ Hono Koa 02/09

I have read a couple of the "reviews" of stays at the Hono Koa & although we have not stayed there, we have visited a few times, getting to know the management team & talking with other visitors. They all had the same impression- They love it there! When we visited the Hono Koa we were contemplating moving up from the Kahana Beach Resort studios to a larger place. We were completely impressed with the options at the Hono Koa. We purchased a "Hala" with the future hopes of getting into a "Koa". So peaceful. Sure, there is no immediate beach to walk onto directly out of your place as there is at the Kahana Beach Resort, but all the beaches in Hawaii are open to the public. Therefore, you can walk a few steps up or down from the Hono Koa, or if you need a busier beach drive to a few of the most beautiful beaches you'll see there. It appears that if anyone had anything bad to say about their stay it must've been due to their "super-high" expectations(elegance) or they were just having an all-around bad vacation.
