Deeded timeshare at one resort with recripocal time at more popular resort

Any other current "outside arrangements" not overtly reflected within the deed are just that --- "arrangements" which can disappear virtually at any time, for one reason or another.I have a question. If I post my timeshare for sale, which has a recripocal agreement with a much better and more popular located resort, can I post it for sale on the nicer resort, or just the actual deeded one?
You would be well advised to adverise as for sale ONLY that which is overtly described within your deed. You may choose to mention the current "reciprocity arrangements" in the descriptive body of your ad, but DO NOT misrepresent what you actually OWN. You DON'T own the "reciprocity agreement", or any of its' current terms.
Remember, the next owner will get a deed very much like yours, just with new grantor / grantee names. If some temporary "outside arrangement" is not already reflected in your current deed, then it is NOT a permanent part of your ownership anyhow (and it certainly won't just magically "appear" in the next owner's deed either).

Timeshares are selling for pennies on the dollar .... some can't even be given away so don't hold your breath waiting on a buyer. You can find legitimate resale companies here www.tsxmls.com ....
Also, if you still owe a mortgage on your timeshare it will be impossible to sell it.

Again, many people are having to give away their timeshares for free to get rid of the ownership and maintenance fees. You're dreaming if you think you can get 8K for your week in Texas AND you may not be able to even give it away.

I will echo JayJay's comments but add this warning. Since you think that your timeshare is worth half of what you originally paid, you're making yourself an easy target for scammers.
They'll tell you that they can quickly and easily sell your timeshare for well above market value and then you'll think that the upfront fee of $1000, or so, to market and sell your timeshare is a "bargain". That's when they nab you.
Try to find legitimate resale websites as to what your timeshare is worth on the resale market. And that means what they're actually selling for and not what they're listing for.

If you can find your particular resort and a comparable week among the "completed listings" on eBay, you can then see for yourself EXACTLY what someone is actually willing to pay, today, for that particular week.Try to find legitimate resale websites as to what your timeshare is worth on the resale market. And that means what they're actually selling for and not what they're listing for.
That said, be prepared to be disappointed. No buyer cares (...not even one little bit) what a seller may have previously paid for a timeshare week. That information is simply not in any way relevant to the actual resale market value of that week TODAY. Any timeshare week is worth only what someone is actually willing to pay for it TODAY --- regardless of any and all previous transaction figures...
