Marriott's Hilton Head Properties
Has anyone stayed at any of the Marriott Hilton Head properties. There are quite a few and am wondering which properties people would recommend. We would like to stay on the beach. We have stayed at Marriott's Ocean Watch Villas at Grande Dunes in Mytle Beach and loved it. Thank you.

It looks like, according to the II Wishbook, that Monarch at Sea Pines, Grande Ocean, Barony Beach (the beach is across the entrance to a neighboring resort), are oceanfront.

karenb572,
Grande Ocean is awesome, almost 400 yards of beachfront, four outdoor and one indoor pool, close to back gate for Sea Pines. Monarch is in Sea Pines, which is a real plus, it is on a nice section of beach as well and of course close to the two marina complexes that have great shopping and restaurants.

We have a timeshare at Marriott Surfwatch and of course can highly recommend the resort. If you are looking for an ocean front resort then Surfwatch is great. Access to the beach is across a board walk (golf cart pickup is available) and you can walk for just about forever on the beach. Ocean front pool and beach bar with food.

The Ocean front properties are Surfwatch although no units are directly ocean front, grand ocean- which is generally the most popular although the other resorts have their fans too, Barony, there is a building that is not ocean front so if you want easy access to the beach don't rent garden view here, and Monarch. Monarch is older and doesn't have the resort feel that resorts like the Myrtle Beach one you normally stay in has.
