$1250 is a lot for a transfer in the sense of closing costs. In other words, if you have come to an agreement with another person to buy your timeshare, closing costs for the transfer, from a professional closing company, should not exceed $300.
I'm guessing from your wording, though, that this company is (allegedly) offering to get you out of your timeshare contract for $1250. If that is the case, then this is probably another Post Card Company (PCC) which usually translates into scam.
No company can help you unilaterally end your timeshare agreement. There has to be a willing buyer (or taker) on the other side. These companies usually lead people to believe that you can just cancel a timeshare agreement. In your case, who would be the willing buyer/taker of your timeshare?
Ask questions like that to this company before you deal with it.

For 985.00 Timesharesbegone.llc WILL transfer the property out of your name into their own name. You will not pay anything up front. Nothing. I sent my deed (page and book number in the Cumberland Co. Tn. Courthouse) to Redweek where my timeshare was transferred so they could verify it. I found it interesting that they never replied. You can get rid of your timeshare in the continental US. You have nothing to lose.....except all the fees the resorts charge. You can call 270-799-0531.

If this company did indeed "transfer the property out of your name and into their name", then this is likely one of those companies that transfer the property into a shell company.
These companies collect a number of dog weeks like this, deliberately default on the maintenance fees, and let them go into foreclosure. The resorts are then stuck with these units for which no fees are being paid.
Unfortunately, the ones paying the price for this underhanded trick are the paying owners.

I did not pay anything until AFTER I received a copy of the filed deed from the courthouse showing the timeshare no longer belonged to me.
Oh yea, Wyndham tried to say I owed them 299. AFTER IT WAS TRANSFERRED TO TIMESHARESBEGONE!!! to transfer it on their books. Can you believe the audacity? I believe one day they will not recognize (in their view) when people sell their timeshare. They will just keep raising maintenance fees, ect.....
