inherited time share question-help
Hi, my mother passed away recently and had two weeks at a resort in newport (Oceancliff), I didn't realize that we were co-owners until her death.Ii was able to dispose of one week and would like to dispose of week #44, they are paid for and maintence fees ae up to date. I have been approached by a number of companies that would take the title back for a fee. What is your thinking on this.

My thinking is that these are probably Post Card Companies who promise to take ownership of your timeshare but then only do the Power of Attorney scam.
There should not be any need to pay any company to relieve you of your timeshare. Try advertising it for sale for $1 or even free here on Red Week.

By the way, how were you able to "dispose" of that week? Timeshares cannot be disposed of or thrown in the garbage. Somebody else has to assume willing ownership.

Postcard companies will take the week if you give them $3000+ .... they then put it on Ebay timeshare auctions for $1 .... with some postcard companies if the timeshare doesn't sell on Ebay then it's still in your name and you are still reponsible for all yearly fees associated with such .... try giving it away.
