The BBB is a scam!!

The subject of the BBB has absolutely NOTHING to do with this forum's actual designated topic of "Timeshare Exchanges". Nonetheless, I don't think that it's fair (or accurate) to so simply and bluntly label the BBB as a "scam".

That said, there is NO question that the BBB is nothing more than a toothless, commercial, "membership" organization; one which has NO legal authority of ANY kind. Any business whose payment check successfully "clears" can instantly become a bona fide BBB "member".

The general public somehow often seems to assign some sort of (entirely undeserved and completely unwarranted) "credibility" to businesses which proclaim and trumpet their BBB "membership" as some sort of "credential". In point of fact, a paid BBB membership is really NOTHING more than exactly that --- A PAID MEMBERSHIP.
