Have you tried giving it away? Advertise it here in RedWeek's Bargain Basement. Be patient. These things take time to sell or give away.
As for "donating" a timeshare, keep in mind that charities will charge you upwards of $2000 to take over ownership. It would be much cheaper for you to offer to pay the closing costs plus even the next maintenance fee for whoever takes your timeshare. And if, as you say, "[you] will not be able to sell it", chance are that no charity will want it either because these charities usually only accept timeshares that they feel they can quickly turn around and sell or give away.
