upgrade scam

we just recently found out that the timeshare upgrade we bought in 2000 was never fully processed into the system. Each year when we tried to use our weeks we were told nothing was availabe to us, and when we deposited our time with RCI we always go substandard accomadations. We now know why! Anyone else had this experience? They took our money but never really gave us an upgrade.
