bad reviews

Hey I've seen a lot of bad reviews about this place, like a stripper club there, bad crime area etc, and I'm almost scared to go there.. any thoughts on that?

We own our timeshare there and don't find it too bad. The market place is across the street, the beach is two blocks away and yes there is a nightclub beneath the units, but we didn't really hear anything. The units are not the "Ritz" but when you go to hawaii you really don't want to stay indoors, you want to be out and about.

We enjoyed our time there, but everyone has their own expectations.

If you don't want to spend time at a resort then this is the place to go. If you want a resort than you need to look elsewhere.
