For years, I have been writing about my feelings regarding the timeshare industry's marketing and sales practices. Just in case anyone has missed those writings, here is a summary: THEY STINK AND ARE INEFFECTIVE.

I agree that their sales methods stink and are archaic. However, I disagree with the statement that they are ineffective.

If their methods were ineffective, they would stop employing these methods. But many people are still buying via this method.

As much as most of us here hate these sales methods, they are still working and, hence, still being employed.
