I have tried but cannot find anything. We are looking to purchase a Timeshare they have listed here on Redweek. After filling out the Intial paperwork they would send us, they are asking for a $1000 "Good Faith" Deposit, on a credit card, then the remaining amount in a Certified check or Wire Transfer. I have found their Web site and the VP whom im dealing with on Facebook and Linkd. What are your thoughts am I being overly paranoid.

I would have to ask why you would be paying a $1000 'Good Faith' deposit (can't imagine what the remaining amount would be) when many timeshares are being given away in this economy unless you're seeking a higher end timeshare such as Disney, some Marriotts, 4 Seasons, Hyatt, HIlton, Westin etc.

You can google 'reviews for 52shares.com' to get more info.
